About the role#
The Honors Student Research Assistant position offers part-time employment for currently enrolled university students. This role supports departmental operations while helping you build professional skills and workplace experience. You will balance your work schedule with your academic commitments.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the daily maintenance and operations of your assigned department.
- Handle clerical tasks such as answering phones, filing, scheduling, and organizing.
- Provide front-line customer service and general program support.
- Perform data entry and provide technology support when needed.
- Help with events and programs as required.
- Complete other administrative or operational duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- You must be a currently enrolled university student.
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs.
- Frequent use of a keyboard and the ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
