About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Safety Co-op Student position for the Winter 2027 term. You will work on-site in Saint John, New Brunswick, gaining hands-on industry experience within our Construction and Equipment Division. You will work alongside professionals on real-world projects, participate in student-focused events, and receive mentorship to support your career development.
What you'll do#
- Support continuous improvement of processes by finding better ways to perform daily tasks.
- Learn project planning and execution using real tools and processes.
- Assist with production planning and scheduling to keep operations running smoothly.
- Gain hands-on experience with ERP systems and data dashboards to support decision-making.
- Participate in safety inspections and initiatives.
- Engage in job shadowing and mentorship with industry experts.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in good standing in a post-secondary Engineering program.
- A proactive, motivated, and self-starting attitude.
- A willingness to learn and grow.
- Interest in building skills in project management and lean methodology.
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented habits.
- Effective communication and analytical skills.
