About the role#
As an Operations Student with Atlantic Towing, you will gain hands-on experience in transportation and logistics. This role offers exposure to marine operations through collaboration with vessel crews and various departments. You will work on projects that support customer service commitments and contribute to operational efficiency.
What you'll do#
- Assist with day-to-day fleet operations and customer service commitments.
- Support the team with maintenance, administrative, and operational tasks.
- Monitor fleet programs and track operational activities.
- Support health, safety, environmental, and compliance initiatives both onboard vessels and ashore.
- Collect, organize, and analyze operational data to help with reporting and decision-making.
- Participate in projects and process improvement initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program for Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Positive academic standing.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational habits.
- A curious and collaborative mindset.
