Human Resources Student - Irving Pulp & Paper - Summer 2026

About the role#

This summer internship provides an opportunity to support the Human Resources team at Irving Pulp & Paper in Saint John. You will work alongside HR professionals, receiving mentorship and coaching while gaining practical experience in a large-scale manufacturing environment.

What you'll do#

• Collaborate with the HR team on daily operations.
• Provide support to site employees across various human resources functions.
• Maintain employee files and data, ensuring strict confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.
• Coordinate and participate in recruitment activities.
• Contribute to special projects and departmental initiatives.

What you'll need#

• Currently enrolled in or entering a Business Administration or Commerce degree program, including Grade 12 students accepted into these programs, with good academic standing.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• A curious mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to changing tasks.
• A demonstrated long-term interest in a career in Human Resources.
