Human Resources Student

About the role#

This position is an opportunity for a student to join the Pulp & Paper Division for the Summer 2026 work term. You will work directly with the HR team in Saint John, New Brunswick, gaining mentorship and coaching through daily interactions while supporting site operations.

What you'll do#

• Collaborate with the HR team on daily operations.
• Support site employees with various Human Resources functions.
• Prepare and maintain employee files and data, ensuring strict confidentiality and compliance with data privacy regulations.
• Coordinate and participate in recruitment activities.
• Contribute to special projects and initiatives.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing or entering a Business Administration or Commerce degree program, including Grade 12 high school students accepted into these programs, with good academic standing.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• A curious, continuous improvement mindset.
• A self-starter approach with attention to detail, punctuality, consistency, and flexibility.
• A long-term interest in a career in Human Resources.
