About the role#
We are looking for a Data Scientist Student to join our Analytics team for the Winter 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in Saint John, New Brunswick. You will work alongside experienced data scientists to apply your academic knowledge to real business challenges.
What you'll do#
- Collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources.
- Build and test machine learning models.
- Experiment with generative AI applications.
- Perform exploratory data analysis and create visualizations.
- Automate workflows using Python and SQL.
- Collaborate on projects involving AI-driven optimization, simulation, and MLOps.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s program in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of Python and SQL.
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts.
- An interest in AI technologies, including generative models, NLP, and computer vision.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a curiosity to learn new tools.
- The ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
