About the role#
The Continuous Improvement Student will support the Transportation and Logistics Division, which includes marine, railway, and trucking sectors. This role focuses on driving operational efficiency and supporting digital transformation projects across the division.
What you'll do#
- Lead business improvement initiatives, including process and operational improvements, digital transformations, and revenue-generating projects.
- Create, manage, and communicate project documentation, including project charters, action plans, and KPI tracking.
- Conduct internal and external benchmarking to enhance business processes.
- Analyze data to identify root causes and develop potential improvements for business operations.
- Provide support to various companies within the Transportation and Logistics Division.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate degree program, preferably in Industrial, Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science, with positive academic standing.
- Strong organizational, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to offsite locations.
- High attention to detail, a sense of ownership, and a willingness to take on challenges.
- Experience with Power BI, Alteryx, Microsoft Apps, or Microsoft Automate is considered an asset.
