About the role#
This is a part-time Operations Internship based in Sumner, Washington, for the Fall 2026 term. You will work on-site and support our transportation and logistics services. This role is paid and requires 20-25 hours of work per week during the school semester.
What you'll do#
- Assist with daily transportation and logistics operations.
- Help with freight planning, asset utilization, and maintenance coordination.
- Support safety management and Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance.
- Gain experience with driver payroll and driver supervision.
- Perform logistics analysis and profit-and-loss management tasks.
- Learn about industry trends and company initiatives regarding driver retention.
- Handle account-specific duties as requested by customers.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
- Junior or Senior standing is preferred.
- A High School diploma or GED.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- The ability to adapt to shifting priorities and a willingness to work flexible hours.
