About the role#
This internship provides exposure to transportation management and logistics operations. You will support daily tasks and learn how freight planning and driver management work in a professional setting. This is a paid, part-time position based in Buena Park, California, scheduled for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist with transportation and logistics services for customers.
- Help with freight planning and asset utilization.
- Support safety management and DOT compliance efforts.
- Participate in driver payroll and supervision tasks.
- Assist with logistics analysis and maintenance coordination.
- Gain insight into profit-and-loss management and driver retention initiatives.
- Complete account-specific duties and other assigned operational tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
- Ability to work 20-25 hours per week.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility in working hours.
- Junior or Senior level standing is preferred.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
