About the role#
This internship offers a look into transportation and logistics management. You will work under supervision to support customers and gain a practical understanding of how our operations run. This is a part-time position for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist with customer transportation and logistics services.
- Plan daily freight movements and manage asset utilization.
- Oversee driver payroll, safety, and DOT compliance.
- Coordinate maintenance and supervise drivers.
- Perform logistics analysis and profit-and-loss management.
- Execute Customer Value Delivery and account-specific tasks.
- Learn about industry trends and company driver retention initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
- Ability to work 20-25 hours per week during the school semester.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Flexibility in your work hours.
- Preference is given to Junior or Senior level students.
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities in the workplace.
