About the role#
This is a part-time Electrical Engineering internship at Itron for the Fall 2026 term. You will work on-site in Liberty Lake, Washington, for 15 to 20 hours per week starting in September. This is a paid position.
What you'll do#
- Support the development of a new calibration data baseline for test chambers and related electrical systems.
- Assist in establishing standardized calibration processes and documentation that align with quality and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with engineering, lab operations, and maintenance teams to support chamber updates, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Analyze calibration results to identify opportunities for process improvements and innovative solutions.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and logs to support audits and performance tracking.
- Monitor systems and assist with updates to ensure optimal equipment performance.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Foundational knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, or calibration concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on practical solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams and communicate technical information effectively.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office tools for documentation and reporting.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in technical work.

- Term: Fall 2026 (15-20 hours per week).
- Compensation: Hourly rate ranging from state minimum up to $44.23 per hour, determined by skills and experience.
