About the role#
This is a part-time internship for the Fall 2026 term, based on-site at our Liberty Lake facility. You will work 15-20 hours per week starting in September, supporting our engineering and lab operations teams in the development of utility and smart-city solutions.
What you'll do#
- Support the development of a new calibration data baseline for test chambers and related electrical systems.
- Assist in establishing standardized calibration processes and documentation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, lab operations, and maintenance teams to support chamber updates, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Analyze calibration results to identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and logs to support audits and performance tracking.
- Support ongoing system monitoring to ensure optimal equipment performance.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Foundational knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, or calibration concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in technical work.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, specifically Excel and Word.
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively within a team.

- Compensation: This is a paid position with an hourly rate ranging from state minimum up to $44.23 per hour.
