About the role#
This is a part-time internship opportunity for the Fall 2026 academic term. You will support engineering and lab operations in Liberty Lake, Washington, by assisting with the calibration of test chambers and related electrical systems. This role requires an on-site presence of 15 to 20 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Support the development of a new calibration data baseline for test chambers and electrical systems.
- Assist in establishing standardized calibration processes and documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering, lab operations, and maintenance teams on chamber updates, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Analyze calibration results to identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and logs to support audits and performance tracking.
- Support system monitoring to ensure optimal equipment performance.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, environmental engineering, or mechanical engineering.
- Foundational knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, or calibration concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, specifically Excel and Word.
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively within a team.
