About the role#
This is a part-time internship for the Fall 2026 term. You will work on-site at our Liberty Lake facility for 15 to 20 hours per week, beginning in September. This position supports our engineering and lab operations teams as they manage energy and water infrastructure.
What you'll do#
- Support the development of a new calibration data baseline for test chambers and related electrical systems.
- Establish standardized calibration processes and documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering, lab operations, and maintenance teams on chamber updates, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Analyze calibration results to identify process improvements.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and logs to support audits and performance tracking.
- Assist with system monitoring to ensure optimal equipment performance.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for Electrical, Computer, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Foundational knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, or calibration concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in technical work.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, specifically Excel and Word.
- Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
