STUDENT-WICB Talent Coordinator ('26-'27)

About the role#

Ithaca College is seeking a Talent Coordinator for the 2026-2027 academic year to support WICB operations. This position offers an opportunity to gain professional experience within the station while managing the modern rock DJ rotation.

What you'll do#

• Coordinate, train, and schedule modern rock DJs who power the station's airwaves during regular rotation.
• Attend weekly WICB Executive Staff and General Staff meetings, held on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.
• Facilitate effective communication among staff members.
• Engage with the WICB community and contribute to the overall success of the station.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment at Ithaca College with a background in Communications, Media Studies, or Business Administration.
• Status as a WICB member for at least one semester.
• Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
• Effective communication abilities for both in-person and email interactions.
• A collaborative approach to teamwork.

• Compensation: $16.00 per hour.
• Employment is contingent upon a criminal background check and completion of I-9 employment eligibility requirements.
