About the role#
The Center for Theatre and Dance Summer Maintenance Crew assists in the upkeep of production spaces and inventory. This position provides an opportunity to work under the supervision of faculty and staff to ensure facilities are prepared for the upcoming term.
What you'll do#
- Clean, inventory, and maintain shop facilities and equipment.
- Assist with the management of production inventory and spaces.
- Run errands using the department van if you are over the age of 21.
What you'll need#
- Experience in theatrical costumes, props, lighting, sound, or scenery.
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to cleaning and maintaining shop equipment.
- Familiarity with production inventory management.
- Eligibility for early arrival housing check-in.
Location & details#
- Location: Ithaca, New York.
- Term: Summer 2026 (August 17-21, 2026).
- Schedule: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily, totaling 7.5 hours per day.
- Compensation: $16.15 per hour.
- Status: Full-time, on-site, paid.
