VIC Radio is seeking a Music Director for the 2026-2027 academic year. This paid position offers students the opportunity to manage the station's music library and coordinate with external partners to shape the station's sound.
What you'll do#
- Lead a listening committee to evaluate and select new music for the station's rotation.
- Maintain professional communication with music promoters, bands, and labels.
- Manage the delivery and receipt of new music to ensure the station library remains current.
- Participate in weekly VIC Radio Executive Staff meetings and General Staff meetings.
What you'll need#
- Membership in VIC Radio for at least one semester.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person and via email.
- Ability to attend all required weekly staff meetings.
- Collaborative mindset and interest in contributing to the Voice of Ithaca College.
- Preferred majors include Communications or Media Studies.
