STUDENT-WICB Promotions & Social Media Director ('26-'27)

About the role#

WICB is seeking a Promotions and Social Media Director for the 2026-2027 academic year. This position offers an opportunity to manage the station's public presence and visual communications while collaborating with the executive staff, DJs, and volunteers.

What you'll do#

• Design and maintain LCD screen content for Park Hall and the main bulletin board space outside the WICB studio.
• Draft a social media calendar and oversee the station's social media accounts to produce engaging, weekly content.
• Assist with tabling and promoting the station at Ithaca College and community events.
• Attend weekly WICB Executive Staff and General Staff meetings.

What you'll need#

• Must have been a member of WICB for at least one semester.
• Strong communication skills for both in-person and email interactions.
• Proven organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work as a collaborative team player.
• Preferred majors include Communications, Marketing, or Media Studies.
