WICB is seeking a Music Director for the 2026-2027 academic year. This position offers an opportunity to manage the station's music rotation and collaborate with the executive staff.
What you'll do#
- Lead a weekly listening committee to select new music for the modern rock rotation.
- Communicate regularly with music promoters, bands, and labels to manage the delivery and receipt of new music.
- Attend weekly WICB Executive Staff and General Staff meetings, held on Wednesdays from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
What you'll need#
- Must have been a member of WICB for at least one semester.
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
- Effective communication skills for both in-person and email interactions.
- Ability to work as a collaborative team player.
- Preferred majors include Media Studies, Communications, or Graphic Design.

- Compensation: $16.00 per hour.
