About the role#
WICB is hiring a Jazz and Specialty Music Director for the 2026-2027 academic year. This part-time position pays $16 per hour and is based on-site in Ithaca, New York.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate, train, and schedule jazz and specialty show DJs.
- Maintain the jazz and specialty music library.
- Review and process new music submissions.
- Attend weekly WICB Executive Staff meetings.
- Participate in General Staff meetings, held Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.
What you'll need#
- Membership in WICB for at least one semester.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate clearly in person and via email.
- A collaborative approach to teamwork.
