About the role#
WICB, the student-run FM radio station at Ithaca College, is seeking on-air talent to maintain station programming during academic breaks. This position is a paid opportunity for students to continue broadcasting operations during summer, fall, winter, spring, and April breaks.
What you'll do#
- Hire and coordinate on-air talent to host station programming throughout academic breaks.
- Perform as a DJ and newscaster to ensure continuous broadcast coverage.
- Engage with listeners and actively promote station programming.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at Ithaca College.
- Status as an active, trained member of the WICB staff with a minimum of one full semester of experience.
- A strong understanding of WICB programming, studio technology, and on-air rules and procedures.
- Good standing with the station.

- Location: Ithaca, New York.
- Term: Summer 2026 and Fall 2026.
- Pay Rate: $16/hr.
- Modality: On-site.
