About the role#

VIC Radio is seeking a Promotions Director for the 2026-2027 academic year. This is a paid, on-site student position offering $16.00 per hour.

What you'll do#

Design and maintain LCD screen content for Park Hall and the bulletin board space outside the VIC Radio studio.
Draft a social media calendar and manage station accounts, working with executive staff, DJs, and volunteers to produce weekly content.
Represent the station by tabling and promoting events at Ithaca College and within the community.
Attend weekly VIC Radio Executive Staff and General Staff meetings.

Location: Ithaca, New York.
Term: Fall 2026.
Work Modality: On-site.
Employment: This position is subject to a criminal background check and requires completion of I-9 employment eligibility documentation.

What you'll need#

Current membership in VIC Radio for at least one semester.

Strong communication skills, both in-person and via email.

Ability to work collaboratively as a team player.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred academic background in Communications, Media Studies, or Marketing.
