VIC Radio is seeking a Program Director for the 2026-2027 academic year. This is a paid student position designed to provide experiential learning within a professional broadcasting environment.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the Talent Coordinator and Music Director to determine the weekly broadcast schedule.
- Automate pre-recorded programs as required.
- Attend weekly VIC Radio Executive Staff and General Staff meetings.
What you'll need#
- Membership in VIC Radio for at least one semester.
- Proficiency in operating the Zetta radio automation system.
- Strong communication skills for both in-person and email interactions.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively as a collaborative team member.
- Preferred majors include Communications or Media Studies.

- Location: Ithaca, New York.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $16.00 per hour.
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background check and I-9 employment eligibility verification.
