VIC Radio is seeking a student to serve as the 50 Hour Marathon Coordinator for the 2026-2027 academic year. This role focuses on the planning and execution of the 40th Annual 50 Hour Marathon and the associated 50 Hour Kick-off Concert, both occurring in the spring 2027 semester.
What you'll do#
- Plan and execute the 40th Annual 50 Hour Marathon in collaboration with the executive staff and DJs.
- Lead the selection process for a local Ithaca nonprofit to support through the marathon.
- Coordinate and execute the 50 Hour Kick-off Concert.
- Attend weekly VIC Radio Executive Staff and General Staff meetings.
What you'll need#
- Must have been a member of VIC Radio for at least one semester.
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
- Effective communication skills for both in-person and email correspondence.
- Ability to work as a collaborative team player.
- Preferred majors include Communications, Marketing, or Business Administration.
