About the role#
The Theatre & Dance Admissions Office Assistant supports the Admissions Coordinator with various projects throughout the academic year. This role provides an opportunity to gain experience in event coordination and administrative operations within the Dillingham Theatre Office. The position requires approximately 8 hours of work per week, with the ability to flex hours around academic responsibilities. Work volume may increase during high-traffic periods such as audition days and spring events.
What you'll do#
- Assist with seasonal mailings for MTD Admissions.
- Lead tours of Dillingham Theatre when available.
- Coordinate student volunteers for Open Houses, Audition Days, and other admission events.
- Facilitate admitted student visits in April in collaboration with the Admissions Coordinator.
- Support additional projects as needed within the Dillingham Theatre Office.
What you'll need#
- Preference is given to students majoring in the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance.
- Demonstrated experience with event coordination.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work flexibly around academic commitments.
