STUDENT-ICTV Entertainment Director

About the role#

The ICTV Entertainment Director serves as the Executive Producer for all Entertainment programming at Ithaca College. This position is responsible for maintaining the quality and professional standards of broadcast content while managing the operational needs of the department. This role is a paid student employment opportunity.

What you'll do#

• Serve as the Executive Producer for all Entertainment programming.
• Train department cast and crew members at the start of each semester.
• Coordinate meetings and critiques with Entertainment producers to ensure high-quality and ethical productions.
• Select producers for shows as requested.
• Manage the allocation of ICTV Checkout Center equipment for all Entertainment shows.
• Ensure all Entertainment broadcasts remain cohesive and professional.
• Attend weekly meetings with the ICTV Executive Staff.

What you'll need#

• At least one semester of experience volunteering within ICTV.
• Strong organizational skills and experience in broadcast production.
• Experience in coordinating meetings and conducting production critiques.
• Ability to manage equipment allocation effectively.
• A cover letter detailing your qualifications, what you bring to the position, and your vision for the future of ICTV.
• Preferred majors include Communications, Media Studies, Journalism, Graphic Design, or Computer Science.

• Modality: On-site.
• Compensation: $16 per hour.
