STUDENT-ICTV Director of Special Productions and Live Events

About the role#

The ICTV Director of Special Productions and Live Events is a new position responsible for overseeing live event programming, including Bombers Live Football, Basketball, and eSports, as well as special projects such as the ICTV Election Center and Holiday Special. This is a paid, on-site student position for the Fall 2026 term.

What you'll do#

• Define the scope and responsibilities of this new leadership role.
• Serve as the Executive Producer for all live events and special programming.
• Manage the allocation of ICTV Checkout Center equipment for all relevant projects.
• Assist department producers in training cast and crew members at the start of each semester.
• Coordinate with the Director of Programming and Director of Technical Operations to ensure scheduling and equipment availability.
• Attend weekly meetings with the ICTV Executive Staff.
• Ensure all live event broadcasts maintain a cohesive and professional standard.

What you'll need#

• At least one semester of prior experience volunteering within ICTV.
• Experience managing equipment for live event production.
• Proficiency in coordinating with executive staff and technical operations teams.
• Ability to fulfill the duties of an Executive Producer for live broadcasts.
• Relevant academic background in Communications, Media Studies, or Business Administration.
