STUDENT-ICTV Director of Publicity and On-Air Promotions

About the role#

The ICTV Director of Publicity and On-Air Promotions is a student position responsible for managing the promotional strategy and public image of ICTV. This role involves collaboration with executive staff to coordinate station-wide messaging, event planning, and audience engagement. This is a paid, on-site position at Ithaca College.

What you'll do#

• Create and oversee the production of promotional materials for ICTV and its programs.
• Coordinate public service announcements and show promotions for broadcast.
• Manage and organize ICTV Recruitment Night in collaboration with the Station Manager.
• Oversee the station’s social media accounts and lead special events.
• Design and maintain content for LCD screens in the Park Lobby, Campus Center, and the bulletin board outside the ICTV Newsroom.
• Appoint members to the ICTV Publicity Team and meet weekly with the executive staff.
• Manage the ordering and distribution of station merchandise.

What you'll need#

• At least one semester of experience volunteering within ICTV.
• Ability to create and oversee promotional materials and design posters for shows and events.
• Proficiency in managing social media accounts.
• Experience with event organization and coordination.
• Strong communication skills.
