STUDENT-ICTV Director of Programming

About the role#

The ICTV Director of Programming is a paid, on-site student position for Summer 2026. This role is central to the station's operations, requiring regular collaboration with the executive staff to manage content schedules and ensure broadcast readiness.

What you'll do#

• Develop and distribute a weekly programming schedule for the ICTV Executive Staff.
• Monitor programming submissions to ensure compliance with all station policies.
• Coordinate with show producers and the Digital Media Manager to establish submission deadlines.
• Collaborate with the Director of Publicity and Director of Web Development to align broadcast promotions.
• Partner with the Digital Media Manager and Master Control Supervisor to verify content is ready for daily broadcast.
• Work with show producers and the Director of Technical Operations to manage broadcasting and studio schedules.
• Attend weekly meetings with the ICTV Executive Staff.

What you'll need#

• At least one semester of experience volunteering within ICTV.
• A cover letter detailing your qualifications and ideas for the future of ICTV.
• Academic background in Communications, Media Studies, or Graphic Design is relevant to the role.
• Experience that contributes to the diversity of the college is appreciated.

• Compensation: $16 per hour
