Ithaca College is seeking a student to serve as the IC Radio News Director for the 2026-2027 academic year. This position supports both VIC Radio and WICB by overseeing the production of news content and managing the news team.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate, train, and schedule radio journalists and the news team.
- Oversee the creation of weekly news programming covering campus, local, national, and international issues.
- Attend weekly VIC Radio and WICB Executive Staff and General Staff meetings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at Ithaca College with a background in Communications or Journalism.
- Previous experience as a member of WICB for at least one semester.
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
- Effective communication abilities for both in-person and email correspondence.
- A collaborative approach to teamwork.

- Location: Ithaca, New York.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $16 per hour.
- This is a paid, part-time student employment position.
