About the role#
Eco Rep Board Members serve as student ambassadors and peer educators. You will share knowledge on environmental issues and help shape sustainability efforts on campus. This role requires approximately 10 hours of work per week. Your schedule will vary based on planned events and ongoing programs.
What you'll do#
- Create and run Eco Rep programs, workshops, and presentations.
- Organize events and collaborate with other student groups and classes.
- Develop and install monthly educational displays in restrooms.
- Staff campus composting programs and outreach tables.
- Assist at the campus reuse center, known as TIOLI.
- Help sort compost, recycling, and trash at campus events.
- Participate in weekly team meetings.
- Support the End of Year TIOLI event after spring finals.
- Package leftover dining hall food for donation.
- Share ideas and feedback with management and colleagues.
- Contribute to campus sustainability planning and dialogue.
