About the role#

The HSHP Dean’s Office Operations Assistant supports the Dean’s office and various departments within the School of Health Sciences and Human Performance (HSHP). This role involves managing reception duties, handling administrative tasks, and assisting with projects to ensure smooth office operations.

What you'll do#

• Open and close the Dean's Office and other school front desks.
• Greet students and visitors, providing professional customer service.
• Check in clients at the Ewing Clinic within the Department of Speech Language Pathology & Audiology.
• Answer phones, transfer calls, and manage messages.
• Perform data entry and maintain school and department records.
• Create and maintain spreadsheets and deliver mail and packages.
• Work independently on assigned administrative projects.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance in all reception areas.

What you'll need#

• Must be a currently enrolled student at Ithaca College.
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to be flexible and adaptive in a professional setting.
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds comfortably.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
