STUDENT-H&S Pathways Office Operations Assistant - A

About the role#

The H&S Pathways Office Operations Assistant supports students as they explore majors and minors and build community during their first two years at Ithaca College. This role involves collaborating with directors, Pathways PALs, and administrative staff to manage program operations and event coordination.

What you'll do#

• Attend weekly meetings with directors and staff.
• Hold monthly meetings to update PALs on program changes.
• Plan and assist with events throughout the semester, including advertising on campus and recruiting volunteers.
• Communicate with directors and administrative assistants regarding necessary resources and supplies.
• Coach Pathways students on registration procedures during the fall and spring semesters.
• Maintain and update Pathways social media sites to promote events and build community awareness.
• Design promotional materials and flyers for the program.

What you'll need#

• Knowledge of the H&S Exploratory Pathways Program.
• Familiarity with the Pathways student community, their needs, and available services.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively with faculty, instructors, and student peers.
