Ithaca College is seeking a Garden Teaching Assistant for the Spring 2026 term. This position supports instructors in delivering a high-quality educational experience by providing direct student assistance and managing administrative tasks related to course implementation.
What you'll do#
- Assist the professor and lead TA with the implementation of coursework.
- Organize and purchase necessary materials for lab sessions.
- Drive college vehicles to transport students for class field trips.
- Provide tutoring or direct support to students enrolled in the course.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Ithaca College degree program, with a preference for students in Biology, Environmental Engineering, or Psychology.
- Strong organizational skills to manage lab and class materials.
- Ability to perform administrative tasks effectively.
- Comfort and capability in driving vehicles for field trips.
- Ability to provide clear, direct assistance to students.

- Location: Ithaca, New York.
- Term: Spring 2026.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $16.00 per hour.
