About the role#
This position is for Environmental Science majors who want to explore regenerative agriculture practices. You will work in the organic garden and the CNS greenhouse. The role involves hands-on experience with no-till methods, cover crops, and planting diverse crops to support beneficial insects.
What you'll do#
- Attend weekly training meetings to build skills and set work priorities.
- Raise crops from seed in the greenhouse and organic garden.
- Maintain garden beds, fences, and hoses.
- Water, weed, and harvest crops.
- Apply mulch around beds to help reduce pests.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an Environmental Science major.
- An interest in regenerative agriculture practices.
- A commitment to exploring these practices within the campus garden.
