About the role#
Ithaca College hires students for part-time dining positions. This role focuses on providing customer service and maintaining food safety standards. You will work in a team environment to support daily dining operations.
What you'll do#
- Greet guests and help them with their requests.
- Prepare and set up serving stations with menu items and utensils.
- Clean and sanitize workstations, service lines, and dining areas.
- Follow HACCP regulations and record food temperatures at set intervals.
- Keep service lines stocked throughout meal periods.
- Break down stations after service and store food properly.
- Communicate clearly with your team and management.
What you'll need#
- No prior experience is required, as we provide training for all tasks.
- Ability to multitask and maintain a tidy appearance.
Location & details#
- Location: Ithaca, New York.
- Schedule: Part-time, 4 to 20 hours per week.
- Pay: $16.00 per hour.
- Modality: On-site.
