About the role#
This position involves working in the Terrace Dining Services Bakery. It offers an opportunity to gain professional experience while providing customer service to guests. The role requires standing and walking for the duration of each shift. On-the-job training is provided.
What you'll do#
- Help manage other students and run shifts.
- Train new student workers.
- Set up and break down service lines, including managing menu items, utensils, and condiments.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workstation according to standard operating procedures.
- Take and record food temperatures at required intervals.
- Replenish food items on service lines from coolers, ovens, and hot boxes.
- Maintain knowledge of food items, ingredients, and allergens to assist guests.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with co-workers and management.
