About the role#
Ithaca College is hiring Biology Learning Assistants to support student engagement and learning. This is a part-time position available for students enrolled in Fundamentals of Biology, Principles of Biology, Genetics, and the Tardigrade Research Experience.
What you'll do#
- Help students understand course content and complete assignments.
- Answer questions regarding laboratory activities and coursework.
- Model specific techniques for students.
- Moderate student discussions.
What you'll need#
- Preference is given to students who have taken or will enroll in the Learning Assistants Practicum in Biology (BIOL 28000).
- Status as a current student at Ithaca College.
