About the role#
The athletics communications office in the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is hiring students to work with coaches and student-athletes. This is a paid, on-site position. We are looking for students who want to gain experience in the field of athletic communications.
What you'll do#
- Write recaps after athletic events.
- Keep and spot for live statistics during games.
- Produce and operate webcasts.
- Update the office website.
- Handle daily office tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at Ithaca College.
- Strong writing skills.
- Experience or ability to work with live statistics.
- Knowledge of webcasts and website maintenance.
- An interest in athletic communications.
- Preferred majors include Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, or Human Resources.
