STUDENT-Assistant to the Concerts & Facilities Manager

About the role#

Ithaca College is seeking a student assistant to support the Concerts & Facilities Manager. This position offers a flexible schedule ranging from 5 to 15 hours per week, averaging 10 hours, designed to accommodate academic commitments. While the role primarily operates during standard office hours (Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.), occasional evening or weekend work may be required. This is a paid position with opportunities for both on-site and remote work.

What you'll do#

• Manage room reservations by creating, modifying, and confirming bookings in 25Live Pro.
• Coordinate facility maintenance by submitting requests through Asset Essentials.
• Handle ticketed event scheduling and updates using PurplePass.
• Support the coordination of student employee shifts.
• Perform general administrative tasks, including managing physical calendars and posting signage.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as a student at Ithaca College.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook) and experience using Ithaca College platforms, including 25Live Pro, Asset Essentials, and PurplePass.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks without constant supervision.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally with students, faculty, and staff.
• Preference is given to students with Federal Work Study (FWS) eligibility.

• Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour.
