STUDENT-Anatomy and Physiology I & II Teaching Assistant

About the role#

Ithaca College is seeking undergraduate teaching assistants to support the Anatomy & Physiology I (EXSS 12000) and Anatomy & Physiology II (EXSS 12100) courses within the Department of Exercise Science & Athletic Training. This is a paid, on-site student position offering experiential learning opportunities.

What you'll do#

• Provide teaching support for lab and lecture content.
• Administer course material during lab hours and hold weekly or as-needed open lab office hours.
• Organize lab activities and lead interactive small group review sessions.
• Clean and maintain laboratory equipment and the workspace.
• Assist in developing new learning materials, preparing for class, proctoring, and grading assignments, quizzes, and exams.

• Successful completion of both Anatomy & Physiology I and II.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work well with others.
• A dependable and committed approach with a focus on proactive, positive student interaction.
• Experience with, or the ability to learn, online teaching and learning platforms.
• Commitment to maintaining professionalism and managing confidential matters.
• Ongoing dedication to the study of Human Anatomy & Physiology.

• Location: Ithaca, New York.
• Compensation: $16.00 per hour.
• Modality: On-site.
