The Student Activities Assistant serves as a liaison between students and ICLA staff to develop, organize, and assist with student activities and field trips throughout the semester. This role is designed for students with previous experience in planning group activities and student programming.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the Program Coordinator to research and organize group activities and field trips throughout Los Angeles.
- Serve as a group leader for various activities, including television tapings.
- Design promotional flyers and manage RSVP lists for scheduled events.
- Network with student leaders from other satellite schools in Los Angeles to identify and coordinate joint activity opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in the ICLA program.
- Previous experience in developing and planning group activities or student programming.
- Proficiency in creating flyers and managing RSVP lists.
- Strong communication skills to effectively connect with student leaders.
- Ability to lead groups in professional settings, such as television tapings.
- Preferred majors include Communications, Journalism, or Human Resources.
