    About the role#

    The Department of Psychology at Ithaca College is building a pool of student employees for potential future openings. This is a paid position that allows students to gain experience by supporting faculty and the academic community. Hiring is conducted on a rolling basis.

    What you'll do#

    Student Teaching Assistants help faculty manage daily course operations. Your specific duties depend on the needs of the professor or the course. Responsibilities include:

    • Preparing course materials and assisting with classroom activities.
    • Tracking student attendance.
    • Engaging with students during and outside of class hours.
    • Hosting tutoring sessions to support student learning.
    • Maintaining classroom cleanliness.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment as an Ithaca College student.
    • Preference is given to Psychology majors and minors.
    • Junior standing or above is preferred.
    • Strong organizational and communication skills.

    • Location: Ithaca, New York.
    • Work modality: On-site.
    • Pay: $16 per hour.
