About the role#
The Office Operations Assistant provides administrative support to the Office of Residential Life and Student Conduct. You will serve as a primary contact for students, families, and visitors, ensuring daily operations run effectively. This position requires cross-training to work across multiple office locations, including the main Residential Life office, the Student Conduct office, and the Circles Area office.
What you'll do#
- Provide professional customer service to students, staff, and visitors.
- Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and direct individuals to the appropriate department.
- Perform clerical tasks such as filing, scanning, copying, data entry, and document preparation.
- Manage check-in and check-out procedures, key access processes, and other housing-related administrative tasks.
- Support Residential Life and Student Conduct initiatives, programs, and events.
What you'll need#
- Must be a currently enrolled student at the institution.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to different office environments and changing priorities.
