About the role#
This position supports the Athletics department at Ithaca College. You will help manage events, maintain equipment, and ensure operations run smoothly during home contests. This is a paid, on-site role with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Set up and break down athletic event spaces, including team areas, concession stands, and merchandise stations.
- Operate scoreboards, game clocks, and public address systems for home games.
- Manage ticket sales and assist with ushering duties.
- Perform sideline tasks such as serving on the football chain crew, acting as a ball retriever, or floor sweeping.
- Follow established safety protocols, cleaning routines, and operating procedures.
What you'll need#
- Ability to assist with various event management functions.
- Attention to detail regarding equipment maintenance and safety standards.
- Willingness to learn and execute specific game-day operations.
- Students from majors including Kinesiology, Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Psychology, or Public Health are encouraged to apply.
