About the role#
The Food Court Student Production Associate supports food production, service, and the overall customer experience at retail dining locations. This role focuses on efficiency, food safety, and teamwork. Students gain hands-on experience in food preparation, guest service, station setup, and sanitation while working in a collaborative environment.
What you'll do#
- Greet and serve guests with a professional demeanor.
- Set up, break down, and clean service stations and dining areas.
- Prepare and replenish menu items during service.
- Assist with cooking and cold prep tasks under culinary supervision.
- Operate foodservice equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, and mixers.
- Monitor and record food temperatures and follow sanitation procedures.
- Restock supplies and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
- Operate point-of-sale systems and assist with inventory.
What you'll need#
- Ability to operate foodservice equipment.
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Strong communication skills to interact with guests and coworkers.
- Capability to multitask in a busy environment.
- Basic cooking skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, lifting, and bending.
