About the role#
The Department of Theatre Production and Management is hiring Costume Shop Assistants for the Fall 2026 term. This is a paid, on-site, full-time student employment opportunity that allows students to apply classroom knowledge in a professional setting.
What you'll do#
- Assist in costume design and construction.
- Participate in fittings and alterations.
- Help maintain shop organization.
- Support the overall production process.
- Work collaboratively with other shop assistants.
What you'll need#
- Must be a current student at Ithaca College.
- Interest in theatre production.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- A commitment to contributing to a diverse academic community.
- Relevant academic backgrounds include Art, Graphic Design, Communications, or Media Studies.
