About the role#
The Department of Art, Art History, and Architecture is seeking a student assistant to support office operations. This position requires 8 to 10 hours of work per week during the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Perform general office tasks including filing and mail distribution.
- Create and hang department posters.
- Complete daily checks of classrooms and the Handwerker Gallery, reporting any issues to your supervisor.
- Assist with department field trips and events.
- Handle varied assignments as they arise.
What you'll need#
- Preference is given to students majoring or minoring in Art, Art History, or Architecture.
- Experience with graphic arts skills.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
