About the role#
As an Enterprise Architecture Documentation and Visibility Intern, you will work alongside experienced architects to map the technology that powers the electric grid for more than 14 million people. You will gain exposure to enterprise-scale technology ecosystems and help build the documentation, insights, and visibility that support smarter technology decisions. This role involves analyzing how systems, applications, and business processes connect.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to application portfolio management initiatives.
- Improve CMDB (Configuration Management Database) data quality.
- Assist with architecture documentation and repository management.
- Contribute to technology standards development.
- Map application integrations and dependencies.
- Assist with Enterprise Architecture tool onboarding and adoption.
- Support reporting and automation initiatives.
What you'll need#
- You are a rising senior pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- You have completed at least the first year of college and are currently enrolled in a four-year or graduate-level academic program.
- You possess a basic understanding of software applications, databases, APIs, integrations, and cloud platforms.
- You have strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- You are able to learn unfamiliar technical and business concepts quickly.
- You have strong written communication and documentation skills.
- You can work independently while collaborating with team members.
- Experience with Python for automation, reporting, or data analysis is preferred.
- You must have the authority to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis, as this position does not offer visa sponsorship.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship located in Holyoke, Massachusetts.
- The term is rolling.
- The expected hourly range is $19 to $36 per hour, depending on your year in college.
