About the role#
Invesco is hiring an Early Career Intern for the Emerging Markets fixed income team. This is a 9-week, full-time summer internship starting in June 2027. You will work directly with investment professionals to gain experience in a global firm. The role is based in our New York office.
What you'll do#
- Attend team meetings to learn about our top-down macro investment process, performance metrics, and risk management.
- Research emerging market countries, financial statements, and market data.
- Prepare presentations, summaries, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Complete assigned projects and present your findings to management.
- Seek regular feedback and guidance from mentors and team members to support your professional growth.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program as a rising Junior, graduating by summer 2028.
- A minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
- A demonstrated interest in investments.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis. We do not provide employment-based immigration sponsorship for this program.
- Preferred majors include Finance, Accounting, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or Business Administration.
Location & details#
- Location: New York, New York.
- Work Modality: On-site. Employees are expected to work from the office at least four days each week.
- Compensation: $40 per hour.
