InterSystems is seeking a Business Development Intern to join the Inside Sales & Business Development team for the Summer 2026 term. This role offers hands-on experience in tech sales, enterprise go-to-market strategies, and lead generation. Interns will receive mentorship from Sales, Marketing, and Product teams while gaining exposure to the company's data platforms and industry use cases.
What you'll do#
- Research target industries and identify key prospects.
- Assist with outbound outreach, including email, call preparation, and LinkedIn messaging.
- Shadow Business Development Representatives to learn live prospecting techniques.
- Support Salesforce data entry and lead qualification processes.
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Sales departments on campaigns and events.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate student (rising sophomore through senior) or recent graduate.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications.
- Strong communication skills and a curiosity for technology and sales.
- Organized, proactive approach and a willingness to learn.
- Interest in healthcare, data, or enterprise software is considered a plus.
