About the role#
As a Module Engineering Graduate Intern, you will work within a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment. You will contribute to the design, evaluation, and optimization of manufacturing processes and factory operations. This role involves collaborating with operations, process engineering, and data teams to improve production efficiency and product quality.
What you'll do#
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize daily module process performance to ensure stability and adherence to specifications.
- Investigate process excursions, equipment failures, and yield loss through root cause analysis.
- Lead continuous improvement projects using Statistical Process Control, Design of Experiments, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Partner with R&D and Integration teams to qualify new equipment and transfer new technologies into high-volume manufacturing.
- Draft and maintain engineering documentation, operating procedures, and safety protocols.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics. Progress toward a Ph.D. is a plus.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Prior hands-on experience in a semiconductor factory or high-tech manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in software coding, scripting, and advanced data analysis.
- Familiarity or practical experience with Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning modeling.
- Experience with 3D modeling and rapid prototyping is beneficial.
